Happy Friday, everyone! I've spent the day laying low and resting up because I get to be a camp mom with my daughter's Girl Scout troop when they go back to day camp tomorrow. I came across the color swatch for this week's Color Throwdown and decided to quickly play along.
Here is the swatch:
And here is the card I made:
I used a light kraft cardstock base for the Crumb Cake color and then used SU Wisteria Wonder, Spun Sugar Distress Ink and white dye ink to make the colors pop off the kraft color better. I used a new (to me) stamp set, which is from the Studio Calico Camelot card kit. I love how they are layer stamps to make as big or as small of a cake as you want. I used some pink, cream and clear sequins to finish of this super fast, super simple card.
Here is a closer look:
I am also entering this in this week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge, where the theme is anything goes!
That is all for today! Wish me luck that I survive a full day of being outdoors! This non-outdoorsy girl is kind of freaking out! ;)
Until next time...
